IDeaS has expanded its strategic relationship with global hospitality group Accor, with its Optix business intelligence solution selected as one of the referenced business intelligence solutions available to Accor hotels worldwide.
The selection builds on the companies’ existing partnership, with IDeaS already serving as Accor’s revenue management system of record. The addition of Optix will provide Accor hotels with greater visibility into commercial performance, helping teams streamline reporting, identify revenue opportunities and make faster, more informed decisions.
Operating more than 5,800 hotels across over 110 countries, Accor manages a diverse portfolio spanning economy, midscale, premium and luxury brands. As hotel operators face changing demand patterns, growing commercial complexity and pressure to maintain profitability, access to accurate, timely performance data has become increasingly important.
However, many hotel teams continue to rely on manual reporting processes and information drawn from multiple disconnected systems, making it difficult to identify trends and respond quickly to changing market conditions.
Optix addresses these challenges by bringing commercial performance data together in a single business intelligence platform, reducing the time spent compiling reports and allowing hotel teams to focus on revenue strategy and business performance.
Designed to integrate with existing commercial systems, Optix provides hotels with clearer insights into the factors influencing revenue and profitability. Its flexible, modular approach also allows the solution to support the different operational requirements of Accor’s hotel brands and segments, from individual properties through to larger portfolios.
For hotel owners and commercial teams, the solution will support more consistent performance reporting, earlier identification of revenue opportunities and closer alignment between property-level decisions and broader portfolio strategies.
Dr. Ravi Mehrotra, Co-Founder and Chief Scientist at IDeaS, said: “Too many hotel teams still spend significant time manually compiling reports and piecing together disconnected data sources just to understand performance. Optix was designed to eliminate that friction by giving hotels fast access to trusted commercial insights that help teams make faster, more confident commercial decisions.
“We’re incredibly proud to continue expanding our relationship with Accor and support its hotels with business intelligence capabilities purpose-built for the realities of modern hospitality operations.”
Through the expanded relationship, Accor hotels will be able to access business intelligence capabilities that complement their existing revenue management technology, helping commercial teams better understand performance, respond to market changes and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
Julien Houdebine, Chief Sales & Revenue Officer at Accor, said: “As we continue to scale Accor’s commercial engine globally, our priority is to give our hotels and partners the right insights to make faster, better-informed decisions. Optix will help simplify access to performance data, enabling hotel teams to identify opportunities, adapt their commercial strategies and ultimately drive stronger performance.”
The selection of Optix represents a further step in Accor and IDeaS’ ongoing collaboration to strengthen revenue management and commercial decision-making through technology, providing hotels with the tools to turn performance data into actionable insights.
