Interlogic opens new Australian office

Interlogic, the New Zealand warehouse management software (WMS) and materials handling specialist behind MultiPick® WMS, has opened its first Australian office, marking the company’s formal entry into the Australian market after more than two decades serving supply chains across the Tasman. The move brings a locally-supported, Tier 2 WMS within reach of Australian distributors, manufacturers and third-party logistics providers.

For Australian operators, the launch answers a persistent gap in the market: the space between costly, complex Tier 1 enterprise platforms and entry-level systems that quickly outgrow a growing warehouse. Interlogic’s proposition is to deliver enterprise-grade capability at a mid-market fit — and to back it with people on the ground, not a support desk in another time zone.

“There’s an opportunity in the Australian market for a Tier 2 WMS that isn’t just software — one that understands automation, materials handling and the realities of a working warehouse, and backs it with local people. That combination is exactly what Interlogic brings, and it’s why we’re investing in an Australian presence,” said Matt Vaughn, Country Lead, Interlogic Australia

For existing clients like Cardinal Logistics, Interlogic’s expanded trans-Tasman network means the same trusted team on the ground as their operations grow across both markets.

Australian warehouses are under pressure to lift accuracy and throughput without absorbing the cost and multi-year timelines of Tier 1 implementations. Interlogic’s MultiPick® WMS is designed to be feature-rich yet fast to implement, giving mid-market operators the visibility and control usually reserved for the largest players.

“We’ve spent more than 20 years proving what a well-built WMS can do for New Zealand warehouses — measurable accuracy, faster picking, and real savings. Australian operators have been asking for the same thing: serious capability without the enterprise complexities, and a team that actually stays with them. Opening in Australia means we can deliver that here, in person,” said Les Wootton, Founder, Interlogic.

Interlogic designs complete logistics execution systems — combining WMS with advanced materials handling equipment (AMHE), rugged technologies, automation and robotics. Australian logistics organisations suddenly become more flexible to scale their WMS and automation requirements as the business grows.
